Core data

Core data
  Information held in the system data base which controls how the automated system works. This is a term used by technical systems staff to describe the table information of an automated system. Basically these tables allow you to enter standard or default information once into the automated system and then based upon this information the system can perform tasks automatically many times under a number of different conditions.
